Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Kitchen Supervisor to lead our food preparation team across Singapore. You will ensure high‑quality meals, maintain strict food safety standards, and support a dynamic menu that delights our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, including slicing, chopping, mincing, mixing and seasoning.
• Cook hot dishes using grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying and broiling techniques.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature controls, and proper food labeling, dating and rotation.
• Collaborate on daily, holiday and themed menus with the senior supervisor.
• Supervise cleaning schedules, equipment sanitation and dish‑washing duties.
• Handle customer feedback, implement feasible suggestions and escalate complex issues.
• Manage kitchen expenses, food cost, inventory and staffing within budget.
• Develop new menu items and adapt existing recipes, with a focus on North Indian cuisine.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a kitchen supervisory or lead role.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, broiling).
• HACCP compliance and temperature control.
• Menu development and recipe improvisation.
• Inventory management and food cost control.
• North Indian cuisine preparation.
