Kitchen Supervisor – Food Preparation & Team Management

About the role

HOME PACKING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Kitchen Supervisor to lead food preparation, ensure safety standards, and support menu development across its island‑wide operations. The role combines hands‑on cooking with team coordination in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and execute recipes, including slicing, chopping, mixing, and seasoning.
• Cook hot meals using grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying and broiling techniques.
• Maintain HACCP logs, temperature controls, and food safety documentation.
• Develop and improvise menu items, especially North Indian dishes.
• Manage kitchen inventory, food cost, and staffing within budget limits.
• Supervise cleaning schedules, equipment sanitation, and overall kitchen hygiene.
• Address customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.

Required profile

• Experience in a commercial kitchen with ability to work shift patterns.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
• Capability to lead a team and maintain a tidy work environment.
• Flexibility to adapt menus for daily, holiday and themed services.
