Lab Operation I - Laboratory Support Associate

About the role

Labcorp is hiring a Laboratory Support Associate (Lab Operation I) to provide operational support for a bioanalytical laboratory. The role ensures the laboratory runs efficiently and in compliance, covering equipment maintenance, inventory and material management, sample and reagent tracking, reagent preparation and general laboratory support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment records and coordinate routine maintenance, calibration and verification
• Manage procurement, receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of supplies, consumables, critical reagents, standards and matrices
• Perform inventory management and keep accurate records in electronic tracking systems
• Prepare reagents, buffers and other solutions following approved procedures
• Support sample, matrix and reagent accessioning, tracking, storage and distribution
• Maintain freezers, refrigerators and storage areas, and perform housekeeping such as glassware washing, expiration monitoring and waste management
• Keep the laboratory clean, safe and ready for inspection
• Follow SOPs, quality standards, safety requirements and regulatory guidelines

Required profile

• Diploma in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Laboratory Technology or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Prior experience in laboratory support, laboratory operations or as a laboratory technician preferred
• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment (GLP, GCP, GMP or equivalent) is an advantage
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and documentation skills; able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
