Land Surveyor - Construction Projects

About the role

A busy construction project team in Singapore is looking for an experienced Land Surveyor. Reporting to the Project Engineer, you will carry out a broad range of land and engineering survey activities across active construction sites. This is a hands-on, site-based role contributing to significant built-environment projects within a structured, technically driven team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct land and engineering surveys, including establishing site boundaries and building grid lines
• Perform setting-out works and alignment surveys to guide construction activities
• Measure and verify building elements to ensure accuracy and compliance with design intent
• Support precast installation by ensuring correct positioning and alignment of precast components
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications and survey plans
• Maintain accurate, well-organised survey records throughout the project lifecycle
• Liaise with the Project Engineer and site teams to coordinate survey requirements and resolve discrepancies
• Operate and care for survey instruments according to established procedures

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of construction surveying experience, with demonstrated expertise in precast installation surveying
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and turn them into accurate field survey tasks
• Understanding of setting-out, boundary and alignment surveys in a construction environment
• Good English communication skills and ability to work with engineers, site supervisors and subcontractors
• Organised, self-motivated and able to manage survey tasks independently
