Lead, AI Portfolio Management & Commercialization

About the role

The role leads the integrated management of an enterprise AI portfolio, connecting strategy, investment, delivery, adoption and value realization. It serves as the senior escalation point for material portfolio issues and shapes the broader narrative of AI transformation across internal and external engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Drive portfolio prioritisation, sequencing and governance, balancing strategic impact, execution readiness, risk, dependencies and resource constraints.
• Establish a decision‑ready view of portfolio health, identify systemic issues and intervene to protect outcomes.
• Orchestrate cross‑functional interventions across business, product, technology, data, finance, legal and risk teams.
• Develop executive‑level narratives, strategic reviews, investment cases and decision papers that frame progress, trade‑offs and recommended actions.
• Identify AI and Agentic AI assets for productisation or external commercialisation and shape commercialisation pathways, market opportunity and go‑to‑market options.
• Engage strategic customers, hyperscalers, startups and ecosystem partners to accelerate capability development and market reach.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, enterprise transformation, portfolio management or comparable leadership roles.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional portfolios and influence senior executives in a matrixed organisation.
• Strong track record of structuring ambiguous problems, developing actionable recommendations and driving outcomes without direct line authority.
• Experience creating executive‑level narratives, presentations and decision materials for C‑suite audiences.
• Working understanding of AI, data and technology transformation with commercial acumen to connect AI investments to business value.
