Lead Specialist, Medical Education and Professional Affairs

About the role

The Medical Education & Professional Affairs Lead Specialist develops and executes strategies that advance healthcare professional education, strengthen clinical partnerships, and drive safe, effective adoption of our technologies. This hybrid role works cross‑functionally to deliver evidence‑based education, engage key opinion leaders, and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the annual medical education strategy, conduct learning‑needs assessments and design structured learning pathways.
• Manage program timelines, vendors, facilities, materials, approvals and documentation for HCP education.
• Develop and maintain KOL and faculty engagement strategies, building a sustainable faculty pipeline.
• Lead HCP engagement governance, screening and compliance activities.
• Prepare and manage the annual medical education budget, ensuring cost optimisation and auditability.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Clinical and regional teams to provide input on product launches and capability‑building priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in medical device or medical education.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects and influence without authority.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
