Learning & Development Executive

About the role

The Learning & Development Executive supports the Director of Learning and Development in delivering training programs that align with the hotel’s mission, vision, and brand standards. This role ensures that all learning activities, compliance trainings, and related documentation are accurate, up‑to‑date, and effectively administered.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that training and development activities support the organization’s mission and vision.
• Maintain and update training manuals, ensuring correct formatting.
• Coordinate associate‑relations events and support brand‑standard compliance trainings.
• Monitor and track mandatory compliance, core, and other trainings using Marriott’s e‑Learning platform and Global Sources resources.
• Prepare and manage training logistics, including venue booking, material preparation, and class setup/teardown.
• Manage inventory of training supplies and order materials as needed.
• Assist in the hotel’s Orientation program for new hires and interns, ensuring attendance and leadership participation.
• Produce accurate L&D reports, training records, and administrative documentation.
• Conduct school Learning Journeys tours and promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Participate in daily stand‑up meetings and model desired service behaviors.

Required profile

• Experience in learning and development or HR training coordination.
• Familiarity with e‑Learning platforms and compliance‑training processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Ability to work closely with department heads, administrators, and external partners.
• Professional appearance and adherence to company ethics and safety policies.
