Marine HR Executive – Seafarer Recruitment

About the role

Join a dynamic marine HR team and lead the recruitment of skilled seafarers for a global fleet. You will act as the bridge between worldwide manning offices and internal fleet teams, ensuring every crew member meets the highest safety and competency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily seafarer recruitment activities across global manning offices to satisfy fleet requirements.
• Source and screen candidates based on vessel type, engine specifications, and rank experience.
• Manage the full interview process and work with fleet managers to assess senior officers.
• Develop long‑term manpower strategies aligned with company KPIs and OKRs.
• Verify that all crew hold valid STCW certifications and comply with company standards.
• Prepare monthly manpower analyses, projections, and marine HR performance reports.
• Maintain accurate data in crewing software and track pending applications.
• Liaise with agencies to place recruitment ads on social media and industry platforms.
• Engage with seafarers on internal platforms and ensure compliance with standards.
• Support the creation of annual cadet intake plans and monitor specialized recruitment programs.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in maritime studies, commerce, human resources, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in corporate recruitment or crewing.
• Strong knowledge of STCW, MLC 2006, and other maritime regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
• Prior sailing experience with EPS is a significant advantage.
