Lecturer – Accountancy (2‑year contract)

About the role

This is a two‑year fixed‑term position as a Lecturer in Accountancy within the School of Business & Accountancy. You will join a vibrant academic community, delivering both full‑time and part‑time programmes to students and adult learners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver curriculum (including online courses) and assessments for accounting modules.
• Supervise student projects, internships and industry‑linked initiatives.
• Provide mentorship, career guidance and coaching for competitions.
• Participate in academic administration, committee work, outreach activities and ad‑hoc projects supporting the school’s mission.
• Plan, lead and manage industry projects and collaborative initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Prior teaching experience (part‑time or full‑time) is an advantage.
• Passion for working with young adults and mature learners.
• Ability to use innovative teaching strategies and adapt to changing environments.

Required skills

• AI, analytics, automation/RPA, cloud accounting.
• Sustainability or climate accounting/reporting.
• Intermediate/advanced financial accounting.
• Taxation (advantageous).
