Lecturer - Business Administration (Higher Nitec)

About the role

ITE College Central is hiring a Lecturer for its Higher Nitec in Business Administration course, which has two specialisations: Human Resources and Financial Services. The role is a 2-year contract. Beyond teaching, the lecturer helps recognise and nurture students' potential and lifelong learning needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical lessons that give students industry-relevant knowledge and skills.
• Carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant and keep strong links with industry and schools.
• Take part in industry attachments or regular professional updates to refresh skills and practice.
• Contribute to industry-based projects and student development activities such as mentoring, co-curricular programmes and career guidance.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to teach two or more subjects within the chosen specialisation.
• Good and relevant experience may lead to Senior Lecturer or equivalent positions, with career development toward leadership roles in the Colleges or Headquarters.

Required skills

• Human Resource specialisation: Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll Administration, HR Law & Policies, Employee Engagement, Learning & Talent Development, HR Analytics, and common business modules such as Basic Excel, Business Process Automation and Cybersecurity.
• Financial Services specialisation: Financial Products & Services, Personal and Commercial General Insurance, Investment Risk & Management, and General Insurance Claims Processing.
