Lecturer / Professor in Food Formulation & Product Development

About the role

The university is expanding its Food Technology faculty and seeks experienced academics to teach and lead research in food formulation, product development and applied food innovation. The position is open at Assistant, Associate and Professor levels and is based on the campus in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver core modules on food technology, formulation and product development.
• Lead or co‑lead applied research projects and industry collaborations.
• Secure and manage research grants that advance Singapore’s food innovation ecosystem.
• Supervise and mentor students on capstone and applied research projects.
• Contribute to the university’s Living Labs and translational research initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Product Development, Food Formulation or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in food formulation, ingredient functionality and product development.
• Strong track record of applied research and industry partnership.
• Experience in securing research funding and supervising graduate projects.
