Lecturer – Psychology (2‑year contract)

About the role

This is a two‑year fixed‑term appointment as a Lecturer in Psychology within the School of Health Sciences. You will deliver both online and face‑to‑face teaching for diploma‑level programmes and support a range of continuing education initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver psychology‑related lectures and tutorials for Diploma, Specialist and Advanced Diploma modules.
• Implement ICT‑enabled learning pedagogies and assist in the creation of digital teaching tools.
• Provide pastoral care to students and support outreach programmes locally and overseas.
• Lead the design, development and review of Continuing Education & Training programmes such as micro‑learning, short courses, workshops and consultancy projects.
• Co‑develop course content with subject‑matter experts, government agencies (e.g., SSG) and industry partners.
• Manage curriculum mapping, learning outcomes and ensure compliance with assessment frameworks and accreditation requirements.
• Support wellness consultancy projects and co‑branding initiatives.
• Prepare reports and documentation for programme review and effectiveness evaluation.

Required profile

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Mental Health, Social Sciences, Education, Public Health, Curriculum Design, Instructional Design or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in teaching or training centres, preferably working with government agencies and industry partners on curriculum development or adult learning.
• Experience in workplace health, wellness or human‑resource sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong writing, facilitation, communication and project‑management abilities.
