Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Nursing)

About the role

Nanyang Polytechnic's School of Health & Social Sciences is recruiting a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Nursing. You will plan, develop and teach Nursing modules for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and/or Continuing Education and Training (CET).

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, tutorials, lab sessions and supervise projects for PET or CET learners.
• Plan and develop course curricula.
• Supervise and assess learners in clinical areas.
• Perform mentoring duties for an assigned group of learners.
• Take part in committees or workgroups within NYP or with external stakeholders as assigned.
• Lead or co-lead overseas educational programmes, immersion trips or events to help students become global citizens.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in one of the listed specialty areas.
• Relevant nursing qualification and recent local clinical practice.
• Current, valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) practising certificate.
• Experience in one or more of: Chronic Disease Management, Clinical Education, Critical Care, Diabetes Management & Education, Endoscopy, Gerontology, Medical-Surgical, Nephro-Urology, Neuroscience, Oncology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Palliative Care, Perioperative, Perianesthesia, Radiology, Simulation-Based Learning.
