Legal Counsel – M&A & Funds

About the role

The firm is an infrastructure investment company focused on high‑potential sectors such as digital infrastructure and energy. As it expands regionally, a newly created Legal Counsel position will support M&A and fund‑related activities, ensuring transactions are structured, negotiated and executed in line with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on investment, fund‑related and corporate transactions.
• Structure, negotiate and execute M&A and private‑fund deals.
• Draft and review a wide range of commercial and transactional agreements.
• Advise on regulatory, governance and risk‑management matters.
• Collaborate with investment, finance and senior leadership teams to align legal solutions with commercial goals.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification and admission to practice in a recognised jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification experience, preferably from a reputable law firm.
• Hands‑on experience advising on private funds and/or M&A transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to deliver commercially pragmatic advice in a fast‑paced environment.
