Legal Manager – Commercial Legal Support (Singapore)

About the role

This position provides commercial legal support for a leading multinational organisation’s Singapore operations. The Legal Manager will work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions, delivering practical, business‑focused advice and ensuring legal risks are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service, distribution, maintenance and confidentiality agreements.
• Provide commercially‑focused legal advice to support day‑to‑day business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend pragmatic, business‑aligned solutions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on legal matters.
• Manage disputes, claims and external legal issues when required.
• Develop and deliver legal awareness training across the organisation.
• Improve legal processes, templates and workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised university.
• Admitted to the Singapore Bar.
• Approximately 2–4 years of post‑qualification experience in private practice and/or in‑house.
• Strong experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic business environment.
