Lift Technician – Testing & Inspection

About the role

We are looking for diligent Lift Technicians to carry out daily testing and inspection of elevators across Singapore. The role involves ensuring lift safety, compliance with regulations, and timely resolution of any issues reported by users or contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily lift inspections and functional testing.
• Verify and certify parts replaced by lift service companies.
• Perform annual and five‑year load tests for lifts.
• Respond to lift‑related complaints and incidents.
• Report incidents to contractors and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
• Handle related administrative tasks, including email correspondence.

Required profile

• NITEC qualification in Building, Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to use email and Microsoft Excel.
• Preferably some experience in repair and maintenance work.
• Valid motor‑cycle licence and personal vehicle.
• Willingness to be on overnight standby for emergency calls.
• Availability to work islandwide in Singapore.
