Linux Administrator (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator on a contract basis to manage and support our enterprise server environment in Singapore. The role involves hands‑on setup, configuration, and maintenance of both Linux and Windows servers, as well as specialized Domino and SharePoint platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Apply patches, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of server services.
• Administer Lotus Domino servers, handling mail routing, database creation, replication, and virus pattern updates.
• Support and troubleshoot SharePoint farms, including web front‑end, application, and SQL servers.
• Assist project teams with IT operations data, performance metrics, and technology evaluations.
• Provide user support for server‑related requests and service provisioning.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years post‑graduate, hands‑on experience with Lotus Domino administration.
• Minimum 6 years experience in Windows Server setup and configuration.
• Minimum 6 years experience in Linux Server setup and configuration.
• Proven experience in server maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting for both Windows and Linux environments.
• Preferred experience with VMware Horizon View and SharePoint Server administration.
