Logistics Operations Supervisor

About the role

Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse and logistics ground team, overseeing storemen, pickers, drivers and logistics assistants to ensure accurate flow of goods and alignment between system records and physical stock.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily activities across warehouse, logistics and delivery.
• Lead storemen, pickers, drivers and logistics assistants on the ground.
• Receive goods and verify items against purchase/delivery orders (quantity, description, condition, packaging).
• Maintain bin accuracy, ensuring correct items, labels and no orphan stock.
• Conduct full stock takes on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Prepare delivery documentation and track proof of delivery.
• Liaise with drivers on loading, routing and timing.
• Coordinate with the sales team on delivery schedules, self‑collections and urgent orders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on warehouse operations experience (receiving, picking, packing, inventory).
• Experience supervising a small team of store‑men, drivers and logistics assistants.
• Physically fit for standing, lifting and moving stock for extended periods.
• Class 3 manual driving licence (forklift licence is a plus).

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP/VMS systems such as Business Central or SAP.
• Ability to operate barcode scanners, mobile warehouse applications and label printers.
• Forklift operation (advantage).
