Logistics Specialist

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for a Logistics Specialist to join its component repair facility at 61 Seletar Aerospace View in Singapore. The role is onsite and covers daily store operations, material movement and support of logistics activities.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, issue and move all store goods and materials, including incoming spares and shipping inspections
• Support logistics operations, packing and unpacking of shipments, and track shortages and deliveries
• Support chemical and waste store management and reconcile invoice discrepancies in the invoicing system
• Review and act on open purchase orders and customer orders, and run daily reports for the material and shipping department
• Handle material movement caused by quality issues (Return Material Authorisation) and conduct periodic stock takes
• Support continuous improvement and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities
• Maintain store productivity and safety through 6S activities (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety)

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of store or inventory management experience preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering is preferred
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently, with good teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
