Lorry Crane Operator/ Driver

About the role

The role involves operating a lorry‑mounted crane to safely lift, load, unload and transport various landscape materials, machinery, equipment, plants and trees. You will work on site, coordinating with supervisors and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a lorry‑mounted crane safely to lift, load, unload and transport landscape materials, machinery, equipment, plants and trees.
• Carry out lifting operations in accordance with approved procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform daily pre‑operation inspections and basic maintenance of the lorry and crane to ensure safe working condition.
• Coordinate lifting activities with supervisors, signalmen and site personnel to ensure safety.
• Secure and handle loads properly to prevent damage during transportation and lifting.
• Comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, company policies and site safety requirements.
• Report equipment defects, accidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the assigned vehicle and crane.
• Deliver materials and equipment to various work sites as assigned and assist with general landscaping or site support duties when required.
