Machinery Engineer – Testing & Inspection

About the role

We are looking for a Machinery Engineer to join the Electrical and Electronic Test Centre of TÜV SÜD in Singapore. The role supports the Product Manager in daily testing operations and drives the development of new testing services for machinery and robotics.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, safety evaluations, testing and inspection of machinery in line with international standards.
• Interpret test methods and procedures, applying sound judgement to methodologies and results.
• Develop new testing services and capabilities proactively.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal departments and clients to resolve engineering and testing requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and sub‑contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with EN 60204‑1 and/or ISO 12100 standards is an advantage.
• Strong project planning and coordination abilities.
• Result‑oriented with high adaptability, analytical mindset and good business judgement.
• Network in the ASEAN machinery/robotics industry is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
