Maintenance Technician – Up to $3,000 + Allowances, Tuas

About the role

Join a well‑established US medical and healthcare packaging manufacturing MNC as a Maintenance Technician. You will work a standard Monday‑to‑Friday schedule in Tuas, supporting production equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to minimise downtime and ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues and carry out minor repairs.
• Assist with machine setup, installation and routine equipment upkeep.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Adhere to workplace safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems with the ability to perform routine troubleshooting and repairs.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safe use of maintenance tools.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and follow maintenance procedures.
