Management Consultant - Financial Services

About the role

Sia Partners, part of the global management consulting group Sia, is looking for bright and dynamic consultants to join its financial services practice. The role centres on delivering high-impact transformation projects for clients, covering areas such as wealth and private banking, corporate banking, asset management, cash and liquidity management and financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and co-design actionable solutions.
• Support end-to-end project delivery, including gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders and map current- and future-state processes.
• Conduct data analysis, benchmarking and intelligent data structuring, and support business case development.
• Prepare project documentation such as user stories, process flows and requirement traceability matrices.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across teams and build trusted client relationships.
• Build subject matter expertise in a financial services domain and act as a subject matter expert across APAC or with clients.
• Contribute to transformation initiatives in wealth management, corporate banking, transaction banking, treasury, risk and compliance.
• Work on proposals and support business development, including client presentations and thought leadership.
• Take on increasing responsibility and evolve into team leadership roles quickly.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in consulting, banking or financial services.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst or in a client-facing project role is highly preferred if you lack consulting experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of one or more of: wealth and private banking, corporate or transaction banking, cash and liquidity management, treasury or financial markets, asset management, risk, compliance or regulatory change.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and basic data analytics tools.
