Manager, Facilities Development and Infrastructure

About the role

SingHealth is looking for a Manager, Facilities Development and Infrastructure to support the Facilities and Infrastructure Development (FID) for the SGH Phase 2 Development. You will assist the Chief Operating Officer (FID) and Project Lead in coordinating the development of healthcare facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with project consultants, government agencies, contractors and internal stakeholders to review requirements.
• Optimise schematic planning by understanding stakeholder operations and inter- and intra-departmental relationships.
• Ensure stakeholder requirements are met in proposals and documents.
• Organise and facilitate stakeholder discussions, formulate resolutions and make recommendations for management's concurrence.
• Develop furniture and equipment lists and specifications, obtain budgets and monitor expenditure.
• Monitor procurement, delivery, relocation, installation and commissioning of furniture and equipment so they proceed on time.
• Facilitate inspections and room handovers and manage defect rectification works.
• Prepare presentation materials and meeting minutes, follow up on actions and decisions, and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on design deviations and change requests, informing stakeholders of impacts on schedule and budget.
• Carry out any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree or honours degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience, including prior experience in a healthcare, biomedical or pharmaceutical environment.
• Good interpersonal and organisational skills, able to work independently and in teams.
• Self-motivated, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Stakeholder engagement, change management and project management knowledge and skills are an added advantage.
• Experience developing healthcare facilities is an added advantage.
