Manager - Independence Office

About the role

PwC is looking for a motivated Manager to support its Assurance IFS Risk & Quality (R&Q) Independence Office. The role advises professionals across the firm on independence matters and runs the compliance activities needed to keep engagements free from conflicts of interest.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultation advice to professionals from various lines of service on personal, system and engagement-related independence queries
• Carry out independence compliance activities: personal independence compliance testing, the Annual Compliance Confirmation activity and data quality reviews
• Assist in managing independence systems
• Support the collection of information and statistics for local, global and regulatory reporting
• Develop independence practice aids, templates and training materials
• Project manage global or local initiatives as required

Required profile

• Audit experience preferred
• Good project management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet people and deal with all levels of staff
• Willingness to learn and deliver timely, quality results
