Manager, IT Business Systems Analysis

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager, IT Business Systems Analysis to lead a team of analysts who ensure IT systems meet business requirements and are delivered on schedule. You will oversee daily operations, build strong relationships with business partners, and align technology solutions with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of IT business analysts to deliver technology solutions successfully.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify needs, define requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead project execution, monitor deadlines, and maintain quality standards.
• Mentor and develop junior analysts, fostering necessary skills and knowledge.
• Make decisions on project management, resource allocation, and IT system design.
• Provide recommendations to senior leadership on technology improvements and process optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, SOPs, and documentation standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day service/system operations, including capacity, incident, problem, change, patch, and lifecycle management.
• Own or approve IT operational procedures and lead crisis management for high‑priority incidents.
• Maintain data consistency across repositories and lead gap assessments.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or an equivalent technical field.
