Manager, Leasco and MRO Customer Service

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defence company, is hiring a Manager, Leasco and MRO Customer Service in Singapore. The role manages customer engines routed to the Singapore Service Centre for repair or overhaul, or to another facility in the P&WC Service Centre network, ensuring high-quality service, communication and product at the lowest cost. It is a hybrid position with travel expected.

Key responsibilities

• Review lease engine allocation and deployment in Asiapac for customer support and support AOG situations in the region, especially on rental deployment.
• Own the P&L of the Leasco business, manage credit exposure with Treasury and work with finance on billing reconciliation.
• Manage in-house and remote engine events for customers across the Asia Pacific region, and communicate customer requirements to the facility representative before engine or engine module induction.
• Lead the Event Management team to improve the MROCS process (CRM, Gate 0, induction, standard work, MFA, credit/commercial issues).
• Review cost estimates, propose alternatives and customised commercial solutions (FFP, NTE etc.), and lead cost reduction and strategic projects.
• Resolve commercial risks and long-term storage hold engines with stakeholders, and keep CRM data accurate while communicating with customers.
• Liaise with customers on shop visit forecasts and rental engine needs, and work with Leaseco, Program, credit and other stakeholders on customer issues.
• Carry out EHS duties: report unsafe conditions, suggest improvements, investigate accidents and incidents, conduct workplace inspections and serve on the Safety/EHS committee.

Required profile

• Preferably a minimum of 8 years of aviation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or marketing (sales and services); an ongoing MBA is an asset.
• Self-motivated, positive, resourceful and results-oriented.
• Strong written and spoken communication and negotiation skills, meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Team player with strong leadership skills and good analytical skills and business acumen.
