Manager, Manufacturing Process Engineering

About the role

ResMed is hiring a Manager, Manufacturing Process Engineering in Singapore to lead its Moulding NPI team. The team works at the forefront of automation, precision injection moulding and advanced manufacturing technologies, partnering with Operations and Product Development to deliver manufacturing solutions for ResMed mask components across global markets. As manager, you will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for prototyping, process development, validation and NPI delivery, embedding manufacturing considerations early in product development.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team, coach members and drive engagement across the engineering team
• Influence Product Development, Operations, Quality and global stakeholders to align decisions and resolve conflicts
• Act as the voice of Manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability, cost, quality and scalability are embedded early in product development
• Own and deliver NPI manufacturing programs on time, within cost and to quality and regulatory standards
• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes, validation strategies and production methodologies
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, safety and quality standards
• Support digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic or equivalent)
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineering teams
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholders in a matrixed environment
• Strong people leadership, strategic thinking and clear communication across the organisation

Required skills

• Knowledge of product design, process validation and lean manufacturing methodologies
• Injection moulding, automation and high-volume manufacturing experience is advantageous
