Manager - Moulding Engineering

About the role

Resmed is looking for a Manager, Moulding Engineering based in Tuas, Singapore, to lead a team at the forefront of precision injection moulding, automation and advanced manufacturing. The role is highly visible: it shapes how products are industrialised so that manufacturing considerations are embedded early in product development, working closely with Operations, Product Development, Quality and global partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing engineering team, coaching members and driving engagement to deliver operational and project objectives.
• Represent Manufacturing in cross-functional discussions, ensuring manufacturability, quality, cost and scalability are considered throughout product development.
• Partner with Product Development, Operations, Quality and global stakeholders to align priorities and resolve challenges.
• Oversee the development, optimisation and implementation of moulding and manufacturing processes, and ensure manufacturing programs meet timelines, quality, regulatory and cost objectives.
• Champion process validation strategies and production methodologies that deliver robust, repeatable outcomes.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing and promote technology adoption.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality and regulatory standards across manufacturing engineering activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years in manufacturing within regulated industries, preferably medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Background leading engineering teams and building high-performing cultures.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions, regions and organisational levels, and to manage competing priorities in complex, matrixed environments.
• Nice to have: exposure to precision injection moulding, knowledge of automation technologies and manufacturing systems, and a background in high-volume manufacturing.
