Manager - Multi Asset Implementation

About the role

Eastspring, a global asset manager with Asia at its core, is hiring a Manager for Multi Asset Implementation. The role is responsible for implementing the investment strategies of the MAPS portfolio management team and for building the automation, analytics and operating model that support execution.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the investment strategies of the MAPS portfolio management team
• Automate trade generation, execution workflows and transition playbooks
• Build TCA, liquidity analytics and execution optimization frameworks
• Develop dashboards for exposure, cost and transition monitoring
• Partner with FMs, dealing desks and industry participants on the operating model
• Document SOPs clearly and maintain knowledge repositories
• Drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in asset management, investment implementation, trading, portfolio operations, transition management or a related financial services role
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline
• Proven ability to work with portfolio managers, dealing desks, operations, technology teams and external service providers
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills in a multi-team environment
• Independent judgment, strong interpersonal skills, organization and self-motivation

Required skills

• Strong understanding of multi-asset portfolios across equities, fixed income, FX and derivatives
• Experience supporting portfolio implementation, rebalancing, execution workflows, transition events or derivative overlay programs
• Strong understanding of portfolio systems such as Aladdin, OMS/EMS
• Plus: knowledge of transaction cost drivers, market liquidity and execution strategies; experience in execution, rebalancing and transition management
• Highly desirable: transition management and institutional portfolio trading, TCA, derivative overlays, process transformation, operating model redesign, automation initiatives, vendor management, and implementation analytics dashboards
