Manager (NS Management)

About the role

The Manager (NS Management) is responsible for formulating and reviewing National Service (NS) policies to align with organisational needs and national priorities. This role works within the Ministry of Defence and Singapore Armed Forces ecosystem, ensuring policies stay relevant and enjoy public support.

Key responsibilities

• Examine socio‑economic trends that impact NS.
• Evaluate issues from both MINDEF/SAF and broader national perspectives.
• Develop robust policy recommendations and ensure clear communication.
• Oversee smooth implementation of policies across agencies.
• Collaborate closely with MINDEF/SAF, other government ministries and private‑sector partners.
• Uphold the core principles of National Service while adapting policies to changing contexts.

Required profile

• Experience in policy formulation, communication or implementation (experience not mandatory).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Stakeholder and project management capabilities.
