Manager, Renewables

Join a dynamic team that believes in building cities and shaping lives through sustainable urbanisation. As the Manager, Renewables you will lead the SJ/EIN Renewable team, drive business development and expand renewable projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the regional renewable team to support multiple projects and offices.
• Develop business development strategies and regional expansion plans for the renewable portfolio.
• Review and validate system designs for rooftop, ground‑mounted and floating solar installations, including equipment sizing and selection.
• Perform or review PVSyst simulations to optimise photovoltaic generation and efficiency.
• Conduct electrical AC/DC cable sizing and create single‑line diagrams, panel schedules and connection diagrams using CAD software.
• Develop design specifications for residential, commercial and industrial solar energy systems.
• Prepare checklists for inspection of completed solar installations.
• Lead consultations with local authorities such as SCDF, SPPG and EMA, and support project execution and commissioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree (Hons) in Electrical Engineering recognised by the Singapore PEB.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in solar PV system design and engineering for rooftop, ground‑mounted and floating installations.
• Familiarity with EMA, SPPG and SCDF code requirements; experience with 22 kV substation design is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and able to work with diverse stakeholders.
