Manager / Senior Manager – Workforce Planning & Analytics

About the role

You will join a planning team that provides central oversight and stakeholder coordination across the Workforce and Workforce Digital Services Groups. The team shapes workplan development, performance tracking, programme analysis and stakeholder engagement for the agency.

Key responsibilities

• Review programme policies for effectiveness, relevance and alignment with workforce development objectives, including evidence gathering, data analysis and recommendation formulation.
• Analyse data from administrative sources, build and maintain reports, identify trends and respond to data queries.
• Support the annual workplan cycle by consolidating inputs from internal teams and ensuring alignment with agency objectives.
• Handle policy enquiries from the Ministry of Manpower and other ministries, preparing responses to parliamentary questions and budget submissions.
• Provide secretariat support for high‑level committees, including agenda preparation, minute taking and follow‑up actions.
• Maintain and improve knowledge‑management practices to keep institutional documents organized and accessible.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and conceptual abilities with a knack for translating broad concepts into concrete policies.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to take initiative and see tasks through to completion.
• Excellent ability to source and synthesise information from diverse internal and external sources.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
• Familiarity with Python or other programming languages (a plus).
