Manager / Sr Manager, TTSH Medical Tower Project Office

About the role

NHG Health is recruiting a Manager or Senior Manager for its TTSH Medical Tower Project Office, within the CEO's Office. The role sits in a start-up team that plans, designs, develops and constructs new patient-centric healthcare facilities for the TTSH Medical Tower, part of Phase 2 of the HealthCity Novena Masterplan. The tower will include 600 inpatient beds, elective surgery, specialist outpatient clinics, clinical support services, the emergency department and clinical staff offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and/or facilitate strategic alignment discussions with TTSH stakeholders across clinical, nursing, allied health and operational divisions, working closely with TTSH Senior Management, the MOHH Project Development Team and appointed medical planners.
• Plan and execute clinical service and operational strategies aligned with future models of care and the envisaged patient journey.
• Translate service plans into physical design and infrastructure requirements and manage the resources needed.
• Develop action plans to meet immediate and long-term objectives in line with the Medical Tower development timeline.
• Conceptualise and implement business-as-usual operations for the tower that complement the rest of TTSH's Novena Campus operations.
• Present proposals and justifications to TTSH Senior Management on potential risks or unintended outcomes.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, promote a positive workplace culture and work in a fast-paced environment.

Required profile

• Recognised Bachelor's degree; 8-10 years of relevant experience (less experienced candidates may be considered for alternative positions).
• Healthcare or biomedical science degree is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in public healthcare institutions or clinical operations is preferred, with a strong understanding of clinical and operational functions.
• Strong project management skills, ability to prioritise multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated, strong problem solver and able to engage multiple stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Excellent written English, including paper and minute writing, and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Data analysis and presentation software, producing clear messages with visually appealing infographics.
• Planning, analytical and critical thinking skills.
