Manager, Student Administration – Graduate Studies

About the role

The Manager, Student Administration (Graduate Studies) will lead the administration and operations of graduate research programmes at NTU's College of Computing and Data Science. Reporting to the Head of Research and Graduate Programmes, the role ensures smooth programme delivery, strong governance, and high‑quality support for students, faculty, donors and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage admissions, candidature matters, academic milestones and student support for postgraduate research programmes.
• Oversee scholarship and fellowship administration, including donor‑funded scholarships and external PhD fellowships.
• Supervise and develop a team to deliver effective services and drive continuous process improvement.
• Support governance, committee work and compliance with university policies and academic regulations.
• Collaborate closely with faculty, central offices, donors and external partners to advance graduate studies and research talent initiatives.

Required profile

• A recognised Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• 6–8 years of experience in graduate programme administration, student or research administration, preferably in higher education.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team‑leadership experience.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead process improvement in a dynamic environment.
