Manager, Supply Planning

About the role

The Manager, Supply Planning leads an end-to-end team responsible for assigned brands and/or categories, covering purchase order creation through supplier management, delivery-change review, shipment execution and inbound receipt. As a people manager and process owner, the role sets clear ownership, reduces handoffs and ensures accurate, timely order execution, while managing delivery risk, corrective actions and escalations with suppliers and cross-functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach an end-to-end PO management team, balancing workload and providing backup coverage
• Guide order prioritization and ship-mode recommendations based on business need, delivery risk and operational feasibility
• Own the governance and control framework for order execution, with clear standards, decision rights and escalation paths
• Lead root-cause analysis of recurring delivery and execution issues and drive supplier performance reviews
• Use dashboards and exception analytics to measure delivery and execution performance
• Act as business owner for system enhancements and process changes, including UAT and adoption
• Champion continuous improvement, including AI and automation opportunities, and support business continuity planning

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in supply planning, order fulfilment, PO management, supply operations or a related function, including people leadership or team-lead responsibility
• Strong understanding of end-to-end order execution and supplier follow-up
• Experience with SAP or another ERP platform; experience supporting system enhancements is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
