Managing Director – Entertainment & Lifestyle

About the role

The Managing Director – Entertainment & Lifestyle will lead AWC’s Attractions & Experiences portfolio, overseeing world‑class IP‑licensed and proprietary attractions such as Jurassic World: The Experience and SkyFlyer. Based in Bangkok, the role drives growth, operational excellence, and guest experience across all assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term business strategies aligned with CCBO and AWC objectives.
• Own full P&L for current and future attractions, driving EBITDA through ticketing, F&B, merchandise, OTA partnerships, corporate events and sponsorships.
• Lead CAPEX planning, OPEX optimisation and ROI management for IP‑licensed investments.
• Manage relationships with global licensors (e.g., Universal Studios) ensuring brand compliance and enhancing market positioning.
• Oversee safe, compliant, guest‑centric operations, establishing KPIs for attendance, revenue per visitor, satisfaction, uptime and safety.
• Lead the commissioning of new attractions from handover to commercial launch.
• Build and inspire multidisciplinary teams, including permanent, seasonal and outsourced staff.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in large‑scale attractions, theme parks or entertainment venues.
• Strong commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
• Track record of managing IP licensing agreements and strategic partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency while maintaining premium guest experiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management and people‑leadership skills.
