Manufacturing Engineer Internship (Aug–Dec 2026)

About the role

BeeX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to support the development and production of advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, gaining exposure to deep‑tech design, manufacturing, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering and production teams in creating and updating manufacturing plans and Bills of Materials.
• Draft and maintain work instructions, test plans, and quality control procedures.
• Communicate manufacturing requirements to suppliers and assist in training manufacturing personnel.
• Provide technical support for production issues, including equipment, processes, and quality.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Diploma/Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Exposure to manufacturing or quality engineering environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team.

Required skills

• Altium Designer or comparable PCB CAD tools.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and Serial.
• Familiarity with 2D schematics, wire harnessing, or cable‑assembly design software.
• Understanding of quality testing procedures (EMI/EMC, vibration, temperature, humidity).
