Manufacturing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations at our Singapore facility. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth planning, organization, and control of all manufacturing activities while upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day production processes, ensuring adherence to operating procedures, quality, and safety requirements.
• Monitor plant equipment and systems to minimise unplanned downtime and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement programmes to improve on‑time delivery, productivity, cost, inventory, safety performance, 5S housekeeping and overtime expenses.
• Lead a cross‑functional team of senior supervisors, planners, manufacturing, quality and maintenance engineers.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance process efficiency and achieve business goals.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects focused on Safety, People, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SPQDC).
• Manage employee morale and retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of operational experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a precision‑engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques, VSM, Kaizen and CORE methodologies.
• Excellent planning skills for materials, capacity and resources.
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑changing business environment and deliver results.
