Manufacturing Operations Controller

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials engineering solutions for chips and advanced displays, is hiring a Manufacturing Operations Controller in Singapore. The role sits at the intersection of operations and finance, supporting local and regional finance initiatives and working closely with Operations, the Business Unit and FP&A.

Key responsibilities

• Lead contributor to key financial forecast cycles, owning task accuracy and data integrity
• Manage and influence stakeholders primarily in Operations, the Business Unit and FP&A
• Drive projects involving complex relationships and direct exposure to senior management
• Review, monitor and authorize transactions for subgroups within finance
• Prepare detailed models for executives and present results
• Act as process integration lead and/or work stream owner for local and regional finance initiatives

Required profile

• Depth and/or breadth of expertise in a specialized discipline
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices
• Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity
• Problem-solving leadership and ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate
