Manufacturing Operator - Filling

About the role

The Manufacturing Operator – Filling is responsible for executing the production plan, operating assigned processing and packaging equipment, and supporting product quality, safety and efficiency targets. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position within a food and beverage manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate processing and packaging equipment according to SOPs and GMP guidelines.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment following GMP standards.
• Inspect raw materials and ensure they meet specifications for salts and dry‑part concentrates.
• Prepare and move raw materials and batch concentrates, including forklift or pallet‑stacker operation.
• Execute product and package change‑overs.
• Use SAP for order processing, goods receipt and inventory management.
• Follow safe operation of dust collection systems and other safety precautions.
• Carry out basic equipment care, troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Maintain 5S standards, visual management boards and operational records.
• Adhere to health, safety and food‑safety policies on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Basic working knowledge of production operations.
• Valid forklift licence.
• NITEC certification or equivalent preferred.

Required skills

• Operation of processing and packaging equipment.
• Forklift and pallet‑stacker operation.
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• SAP application usage (advantage).
• Microsoft Office skills – Email, Word, Excel.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food‑safety hygiene.
• Understanding of 5S methodology (advantage).
