Marine Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Marine Construction Manager to lead onsite construction and project execution within a shipyard environment. The role involves coordinating daily operations, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and driving progress to meet schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily onsite construction activities to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor work progress against approved schedules and manage production planning.
• Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Enforce safety standards, quality assurance procedures, and classification society requirements.
• Liaise with owner representatives, classification surveyors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare progress updates, operational reports, and lessons‑learned documentation.
• Maintain accurate project and construction records in line with company standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Shipbuilding, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision, project execution or shipyard operations.
• Experience in marine, offshore, oil & gas, heavy engineering or shipbuilding environments is advantageous.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced onsite environment.
