Marine Electronic Engineer – Radio & Navigation Systems

About the role

Hostmost Group, a leading provider of marine radio‑communication and navigation systems, is expanding its technical team. The Marine Electronic Engineer will work on deep‑sea vessels, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical shipboard electronics.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings, producing accurate field reports.
• Perform testing, repair, installation and inspection of a range of marine electronic equipment on board.
• Operate in marine environments on deep‑sea ships, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Radio & Telecommunications.
• 8‑10 years of experience with marine electronic systems.
• Classification‑approved surveyor for GMDSS Radio Survey & VDR APT (if applicable).
• Relevant training certificates from equipment manufacturers (e.g., VDR, GMDSS).
• General Operator Certificate (GOC) preferred.
• Location near Pasir Panjang MRT station, Singapore.
