Marine Sales Executive

About the role

The Marine Sales Executive will be responsible for driving after‑sales revenue within the marine sector, building strong relationships with ship owners and operators, and delivering tailored solutions for vessel maintenance and upgrades. This permanent, onsite role reports to the sales management team and works closely with service, procurement and operations colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective marine customers.
• Conduct regular site visits to identify spare‑parts, repair, maintenance and upgrade opportunities.
• Generate new leads and expand business within the marine industry.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage sales enquiries from initial contact through order confirmation to job completion.
• Provide after‑sales support and maintain ongoing customer communication.
• Monitor vessel schedules, dry‑docking activities and upcoming maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of customer requirements and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Sales or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in sales, after‑sales, marine services, spare parts or ship repair.
• Understanding of marine customers, vessel maintenance cycles and after‑sales requirements is advantageous.
• Proven ability to handle enquiries, quotations and new‑business development independently.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑relationship management skills.
