Marketing Intern (Goods) - January 2027

About the role

Carousell Group, the leading recommerce group in Greater Southeast Asia, is looking for a full-time 6-month marketing internship starting in January 2027. The intern will support marketing campaigns across in-app and out-of-app channels, help run social media and contribute to data reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement marketing campaigns across in-app and out-of-app channels and understand how to measure campaign performance.
• Ensure day-to-day operational excellence of marketing activities.
• Conceptualize and execute a social media strategy, including on platforms such as RedNote, and create engaging, informative and visually appealing content.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to produce and develop marketing assets.
• Support the team with data reporting and generate insights.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and optimize in-app campaigns using CRM tools, and monitor user behavior and engagement in the Carousell app.
• Ideate and test low-cost social content, using basic filming and editing to make short videos, and stay up to date with social media trends.
• Use AI tools to streamline content ideation, copywriting and insight generation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a course majoring in Marketing or Business at a Polytechnic or university.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, especially RedNote, and their content requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Innovative, multi-tasking mindset with strong project management and teamwork skills.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI for marketing productivity and content creation.
• Keen interest in Carousell and how secondhand marketplaces operate.
• Available to commit to full-time work for 6 months.

Required skills

• Strong copywriting skills.
• Ability to generate insights and recommendations from large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite, especially Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs and PowerPoint/Slides.
