Material Handler Specialist

About the role

The Material Handler Specialist supports DSV’s logistics operations by managing order fulfillment, shipment booking and documentation. You will work closely with operations, forwarders and transport partners to ensure smooth inbound and outbound flows.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate order fulfillment and resolve related issues with operations teams.
• Book import/export shipments and arrange local deliveries with forwarders.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents for outgoing cargo.
• Organise cargo release to appointed transporters and ensure timely reporting.
• Handle system transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP.
• Perform physical receiving, outbound processing, cycle counts and assist with annual stock‑take.
• Carry out value‑added services and manage document retention.
• Print picking orders, monitor stock complaints and verify SAP/WMS transaction completeness.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail for accurate data processing and documentation.
• Experience in warehouse or logistics environments.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
