Material Management Executive

About the role

As a Material Management Executive in Givaudan’s Taste & Wellbeing division, you will support daily material planning and ensure smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will work closely with production, demand planning, quality, and procurement teams to meet customer demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Commit to customer and affiliate orders based on material availability and service targets.
• Release orders and purchase‑order schedules in collaboration with production planners.
• Manage daily raw‑material replenishment, forecast review, and expedite supplies during demand surges.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate order‑related issues with production, customer care, and regional affiliates.
• Coordinate with demand planners and customer care to close forecasting gaps.
• Communicate with manufacturing, quality, and distribution teams on expedited fulfilments.
• Work with quality and procurement to de‑risk the supply chain for raw‑material and packaging issues.
• Navigate unexpected supply disruptions and keep operations on track.
• Balance cost‑effective inventory levels with customer demand, targeting month‑end and year‑end inventory goals.
• Implement best‑practice actions to mitigate slow‑moving or obsolete stock.
• Plan and execute phase‑in/phase‑out of raw materials and formula changes.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects within supply‑chain planning.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 3 years of experience in logistics or supply‑chain management (fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply).
• Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
• Good teamwork, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
