APAC Innovation and Strategy Lead (Smart Mobility)

About the role

Join a leading multinational transportation and mobility solutions provider as the APAC Innovation and Strategy Lead for Smart Mobility. Reporting to the Head of APAC Innovation, you will work closely with clients, internal project teams, government agencies, start‑ups and academic partners to turn innovative mobility concepts into market‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage an open‑innovation ecosystem across APAC, linking universities, public agencies, start‑ups, suppliers and customers.
• Structure and oversee innovation projects, defining scope, schedule, budget and ROI, and secure project approvals.
• Lead collaboration agreements with clients, suppliers, start‑ups and academic partners, and support client presentations and technical proposals.
• Build and maintain an innovation pipeline, identifying high‑potential projects, low‑hanging‑fruit opportunities and flagship initiatives.
• Manage project delivery using appropriate methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid), track progress, budgets and KPIs, and report to senior management.
• Ensure adherence to company processes and implement best practices for innovation program management.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with proven experience in innovation, product creation and management.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with cross‑functional teams, government bodies and external partners.
• Excellent communication abilities to develop strategies, presentations and reports for senior audiences.
