Materials & Warehouse Manager – Jurong Island

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Materials / Warehouse Manager to lead the handling of materials, equipment and supplies for construction projects on Jurong Island, Singapore. The role ensures timely, accurate and safe delivery of resources to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Accept, inspect and register incoming materials, equipment and tools, verifying quantity, specifications and quality.
• Maintain a materials ledger, conduct regular inventory checks and optimise stock levels to avoid over‑stocking or shortages.
• Distribute outgoing goods according to construction needs, ensuring records align with physical inventory.
• Implement and monitor warehouse safety measures, including fire prevention, moisture protection, anti‑theft controls and hazardous material handling.
• Manage, train and evaluate warehouse personnel and coordinate with construction teams, procurement and suppliers.
• Control costs by minimising material loss, damage and waste and provide data‑driven recommendations for efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing materials and warehouse operations for construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations for hazardous substances.
• Ability to lead a warehouse team and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Track record of cost‑control and inventory optimisation.
