M&E Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The M&E Technician will ensure the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities are well‑maintained through routine and preventative maintenance. This role involves a variety of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and finishing work.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations for the hotel property and grounds.
• Respond promptly to maintenance and safety concerns raised by guests or staff.
• Perform and monitor preventative maintenance projects and daily/weekly checklists.
• Maintain guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas, handling tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, wall covering and tiling.
• Assist management in specifying supplies and equipment needed for operations.

Required profile

• Previous construction or hotel maintenance experience (preferred).
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry concepts.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, follow detailed procedures and attend to guest concerns.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and rotating shifts.
• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
